A public service message for you gals who see more ceilings than floors… From Breitbart:
Paris Hilton got no love this week from her pet kinkajou Baby Luv _ in fact, the racoon-like animal bit her.
The heiress was not badly hurt but did visit a hospital emergency room to receive a tetanus shot, her publicist, Elliot Mintz, told The Associated Press on Friday.
No huge news here, to me, except…. I’d think that, with Ms. Hilton’s lifestyle, she’d have a traveling doctor with her at all times, and get daily shots of penicilllin, Hep-A/B/C shots, tetnus, typhoid, scarlet fever… this chick has “taken more torpedoes than the British navy”…. I’m surprised Rick Hilton hasn’t put her on a breakfast shake of every antibiotic, antiviral, anti-whatever drug out there…. but this chick would probably mix it with vodka.
ps- isn’t it more than a little odd that Paris has a pet with the word ‘kink’ in it ? I’m just sayin’.

You read this stuff, you research and learn, and try to comprehend. More often than not when you read the leftwing stuff, you are just exhausted, and can’t think anymore.
The best response- the only rational non-rip-out-your-hair response- so often is… “just beyond me”.

I won’t say much about this now. Plenty has been said, and more will be said later, I’m sure. It’s still early in the story, and unlike Reuters or the NYT I like to have a few more facts before I start spouting….
But this story of 50+ Muslims wanting to blow up airliners over the ocean should be a global wake-up call. We got 21 of them, it seems, but that means 29+ are still out there.
I’m almost 34 years old, with a bad back, bad knees, and a bum ankle. Those extremists want me dead. If they come to my home one by one and give me time to reload, I’ll take care of them… However, with this wracked body, the C-JCoS doesn’t want me. (that’s Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff)
I prefer to let the US Armed Forces, in all the flag-waving patriotic glory, go out and kill those bastards for me. To me, that is among the very few legitimate reasons to pay taxes… to support the military.
And I appreciate you, men and women of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard. Keep up the good work.

JEG and I actually know this guy. He is among the kookiest of the kooks. If you live in NYC, and your garbage disposal breaks, it’s not a simple mechanical failure…. see:
It’s a huge conspiracy between the Jews, the Carlisle Group, Con-Ed, Rudy Guliani, Bush and Cheney, the Democratic Leadership Council, the Pope, Bloomberg, your borough president…. could probably throw in WalMart and Kenmore. Everything is a conspiracy.
His best “scoop” is dated Aug. 5/6, 2006. Evidently (little hard to follow, as are all conspiracy nuts) the G.H.W. Bush family killed Barbara Bush’s mother…. No real evidence, but as is common with conspiracy theorists, there will never be any evidence, because the conspirators are so good at covering it up.
However, in person, he can’t back any of it up. Faced with actual facts and real arguement, he folds like a cheap umbrella- wind-tossed and bent.
But it’s nice to know a few crazy people. I should add, Madsen was almost equally nutty against the Clintons, so he’s not a partisan crazy, he’s just crazy.
So- who really killed Kennedy, Mr. Wayne Madsen ?

How dare the government set rules as to what I can do, or say, when I am on a plane. How dare they make mothers take a sip of what they carry for their “babies”. How dare they make me wear socks on a plane because I have to take my shoes off when I go through the security line at the airport.
I am outraged.
This all goes back to what’s-his-name a few days ago who was bitching about civil liberties. OF COURSE I don’t mind taking my shoes off, checking my shaving cream and shampoo- and I mean really, who gets all twisted up about not being able to carry-on sunscreen ?! That is the penultimate of NOT FRIGGIN IMPORTANT !! You’d need SPF values that can only be expressed in scientific notation if the damn plane explodes.
This is not a civil liberty. I am a smoker. I get a little honked that I can’t carry a lighter on a plane, but it is not a violation of my civil liberties. It is an inconvenience, and a minor one at that.
This point keeps getting lost, and the CT Dems just prove it, but this is where this country seems to be. It must be nice to have such blind ability to discard serious danger, to walk down the street oblivious to reality.
Me- I wanna live for a good, long time. I’ve flown some times lately on pretty short notice. I’ve had my luggage rifled through. I’ve been pulled out for the “extra check”. I’m polite, cooperative, and available. It wouldn’t bother me if I had to do that every time. It’s an inconvenience- especially since I can’t get to the airport 4 hrs early, go through the security line, and sit, have a beer and a smoke, and wait…
We’re gonna hear a lot of discounting of these new threats. And there will be more as 9/11 approaches….. They are starting now, actually. How someone can claim that this is all just a Bush/Blair attempt to distract the media from a Lieberman loss… you people need to tighten up your tin-foil hats.
There are thousands of people in this world- Muslim extremists- who want to kill every American they meet. KILL ! Why can’t the left in this country see that for just what it is ?!
