I haven’t been here in a while, and haven’t really been missed, I’m sure… But I am listening/watching Carl Levin on C-SPAN right now…. and God help us all.
I know some of you voted for Dems because you were mad at the Republicans. I can understand, even if I think you are short-sighted babies.
I’ve seen two monumental things…. Republicans forgot how to lead, and got drunk with power. I hate them for that.
But Democrats forgot how to lead !!! Carl Levin, who will lead the Armed Services committee wants to moves troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan to “re-deploy” to what and where ?!?! To Okinaka, where Murtha wants them to go ?
Look kids…. as much as I like the Japanese, they don’t like us in Okinawa. For the love of Christ there were a few incidents a few years ago that got international attention. The Japanese want us out of Okinawa. There was an episode of JAG about it….
You people who voted for Democrats. Shame on you all. I just hope that your stupid, bone-headed, I’m-right-your-wrong exercise in absolute childishness doesn’t kill another 3000 people. The only good news is we still have the President who doesn’t follow the sheep. He can’t. He swore and oath to protect and defend, not an oath to follow the fleeting whims of a barely literate electorate.
We have one sane part of government for the next two years. With the Dems in charge in Congress…. I live near DC… I just hope I am outside the blast-zone.
Let’s make the 28th amendment a requirement that you have to have a damn brain, and know something about government before you can vote.
This will be a sad chapter in this nation’s history, because Dems are pushed by their left-wing to be children, and they will behave like babies for the next 2 years.
Mark my words.

It’s hard to believe that any President would have appointed this man as Attorney General in any era in American history. The man is a disgrace.
Out of many unbelievable statements made by “the Honorable” Mr. Clark, this has to be the silliest:
He said Saddam should have been tried by an independent UN-sponsored court and was scathing about the Saddam verdict coming only two days before US midterm elections.
As a voter, it wouldn’t make a lick of difference to me whether Hussein were tried by a US court, a UN court, an Iraqi court, or the local basketball court. Hussein killed his own people. He deserves the public stringing up he is going to get.
I nominate Ramsey Clark for Attorney General of Fantasy Land.

Death by hanging! What was good for Mussolini is good for Hussein. I’m normally not one to celebrate the death penalty. Dictators who kill their own citizens, however, deserve a good stringing up.
“Long live the people!” Hussein shouted as the verdict was being announced. “Down with the stooges! Down with the invaders! God is great!”
Down with the stooges? What did Larry, Moe, and Curly ever do to you, Sadaam?
As for God being great? Yeah, God is great. You’re about to find out how great he is when you’re dangling by a rope in the public square.
Props to the Judge in this case as well. My favorite part of this story:
Minutes earlier, at least six guards had surrounded former U.S. attorney general Ramsey Clark, one of the defense attorneys, and hustled him out of the courtroom. “Get him out! Get him out!” Abdel-Rahman shouted in English, outraged at a court filing submitted by Clark that apparently referred to the trial as a travesty. “He’s coming from America to insult the Iraqi people and the court,” the judge added in Arabic.
Ramsey Clark fell off the deep end a long time ago. The trial wasn’t the travesty here. The travesty is that an American - a former Attorney General - defended a scumbag killer.
One less psycho the world will have to deal with, thank God.
