Hagel ? What is up with Nebraska ??
I’m just curious…. how can the people of Nebraska, who elected Tom Osborne to Congress and would never allow such wussified behavior from the Cornhuskers, have elected someone as spineless and defeatist as Chuck Hagel ?

Perhaps you should clarify your comments. What is it about Chuck Hagel that you find spineless and defeatist about Chuck Hagel? Someone is supposed to lead, whether you like his position or not, and be a voice in the government.
Is he supposed to mindlessly follow his party’s line? Not say anything even if he disagrees?
Nebraska elects people who can think for themselves. Hagel is one of those guys. What’s wrong with that?

Ok, Skippy. Tell me exactly what Sen. Hagel’s position is, other than “we can’t win”. That’s not leadership. Whoever owns the San Diego Chargers is obviously a Democrat.
Leadership is having a position, having a policy, and acting on it. Hagel just likes to be on TV.
